Eastern Bluebird

Near the Kawarthas, the Eastern Bluebird Society is committed to protecting the Eastern Bluebird population and increasing their numbers. I waited along the empty dirt road, camera in hand, for one of the birds to emerge or return to one of the boxes aligning the field. Eventually, this one flew back to the nest but not before stopping on the wire fence with this morsel in its beak.
